Labour cost = operatives × standard hours × hourly rate, plus overtime hours × hourly rate × overtime multiplier.
Example
4 operatives × 8 hours × £28/hr = £896. Add 2 overtime hours at 1.5× for 4 operatives = £336. Total labour cost = £1,232.
